Publishers

Nearly 500 scholars and students from fields of research related to South Asia will attend ECSAS2018, hosted by the Centre for Studies on India and South Asia in Paris. ECSAS conference attendees are an extraordinary audience for having strong cross-disciplinary interests in human and social sciences' scholarship produced on South Asia. The publisher space will be positioned in the room where coffee breaks will take place, ensuring that this will be a space where delegates congregate, linger, and that they won't be able to miss your presence. We encourage publishers to come along and participate.

The following publishers will be in attendance: Brill, Taylor and Francis, Oxford University Press, CrossAsia-ePublishing at the South Asia Insitute in Heidelberg and the International Quarterly for Asian Studies.

Marketing options available

Publishers can exhibit their books on one or two tables. In order to help us provide scholarships to participants coming from South Asia, we ask publishers to pay for table space (tables are about 1.50m long) via this website, and to choose among the following options :

• Single display table - including abstract book and full access to panels & events and including full page portrait advert in conference programme. Fee: 550 €
• Double display table - including abstract book and full access to panels & events & events and including full page portrait advert in conference programme. Fee: €700

• Single display table - including abstract book and full access to panels & events : Fee : 350€
• Double display table - including abstract book and full access to panels & events. Fee : 450€

If you choose one of the first two options: your logo can be printed on our material and appear on our website.

Payment of the fee entitles you (1 person per Publisher) to attend conferences, take part in the inaugurating cocktail and coffee breaks. If you wish to participate in the social event, an optional dinner set on a boat that will navigate along the Seine River, the rate is 35 € per person.

Please note:

• We do NOT offer unstaffed displays - experience shows that you do not get to really market your company, but simply lose your stock.
• We do NOT offer insertion of ads/catalogues in delegate packs -- experience shows that the clutter in a delegate bag is quickly junked, and rarely into a recycling bin. Ads which are printed in our conference book will not be thrown away, and so will have a longer shelf-life; while this will also have environmental benefits.

Setting up stalls

Please set up by 12:00 on July 24th, so that the publisher's display is up and ready for the conference. The venue will be open from 8:00am that day.

Collections

To ensure your get your books back, please label all your boxes, with your publisher name in the top left hand corner, and make sure that whoever makes the courier booking ensures that publisher name is used as a reference in the order. Collection address as above.
